(Taps Microphone): "Is this thing on" (Hits play on the youtube video entitled Prom Queen) Lil Wayne I take my hat off to you for this one!! A rock n roll album?!?!? Are you serious?!?! That has to be theeeeeee SMARTEST thing in the world in my opinion!! One of the biggest rap moguls to come in the game and now he will continue amongst the innovators (referring to Kanye West and 808's and Heartbreaks)and attempt to do what only a few has done before (cant forget Run DMC Rock This Way!!) The album will be called the "Rebirth" and it was supposed to drop on April 7th but got pushed back to May 19th according to his publicist that made the statement to MTV. Hip Hop is definitely evolving and who better than to have a handful in this occurrence than Mr. Tummy Sucker (who came out with P-Monster after dating the Baddest One...lmao!!)(She had it all figured out...singing the song...lol!) A few rumored artist to feature amongst this album is FALL OUT BOYS and Avril Lavigne but no word has been given as to song titles and things of that nature (she was a skater boy, i said see ya later boy).
The track that he has debuted off the Album is entitled Prom Queen and this track was first debuted on the Jimmy Kimmel Live...(Now, we go into the video in itself) Starting with Wayne's live performance, it continues with a scene where he is turned down by a girl he loves. Lil Wayne plays as a NERD throughout the video (even tho he has dreads and the only nerdy thing about him is the Bifocals he wears in the video) and its intriguing because the girl he loves is off pursuing other guys and not giving Wayne an ounce of a chance to make his move. (one time for the lovers that never get that lucky girl, whether she really is lucky or not...u feel me) As Lil Wayne is being showed progressing in his rap career the young lady who he loved life is flashing before her eyes...She ends up being pregnant while Wayne is Toppiong charts and has become the CEO of Young Money Ent. As she is shown rocking a stroller with the baby inside Wayne's Carter III album goes multi-platinum...and later on to sweep the 2009 Grammy Awards...By the ending of the video the "Prom Queen" is seen at Wayne's concert reaching for him and grabbing for him while he is on stage (typical hood rat...back then they aint want em, no he hot they all on him). He ignores her and then kisses another girl (now some may say dang Lil Wayne thats Trife..but if it was the other way around it would be "You get it girl!!") Karma is a you know what...
My only fear is that Lil Wayne is pulling a serious Kanye right now and my question is will the world of Hip Hop embrace him with open arms or look at him with the screw face!?!?!? Or if this flops I guess he can come out with the Carter 5 and go multi-platinum again (even tho Baby says this is not a "ROCK ALBUM" so maybe the world just got it twisted because of Prom Queen" and reporters are also saying the album is "Rock Themed"). Well hopefully he comes out on top and dont flop like the Patriots did when they played the giants in the 2008 Playoff Games or get a major upset like Arizona did playing the Steelers. Hopefully, this album wont end up being below zero degrees and that his lights dont get turned out and all those barenzo's and Yokohama tires will be left in a bitter sweet memory of what was his career...Which may be a little extreme...Im sure his career will be fine...But at least if this flops he still has Drake!!! lol!! Aww well I digress...Check out the new vid "Prom Queen" and I will keep you posted as the Album approaches...

Wayne said himself that it was a Rock Album in Rolling Stone, i dont think it will flop because Screamo bands are coving all of his songs anyway so i am sure this will transcend to a different audience and become a success. I think Hip-Hop will do the same as they did Kanye and just end up liking it, They were working on the albums during the same time Kanye just released his first. For the next couple years everything Wayne touches will turn to gold just because of his name sake.
