  1. Firs time I saw this video I was in my marketing class. It is crazy to see how much technology is playing a part in our lives. Its getting crazier by the minute. We are in an age where if you do not have a cell phone or the internet you will not survive. People can watch you through a satellite and soooooo much more weird stuff.

Technology advancements are great...But, they always seem to get used for something it had no intention to be used for.

  2. LOL at the shout out. Always a pleasure.

But after seein the clip and actually being a part of the generation that has seen the most rapid progress of technology we have ever seen, it's pretty overwhelming to think ab the scope of expansion. With technology and innovation so prevalent we have no more privacy. Through google earth you can look into ppls backyard pools- that means no more anonymity for anyone. Once you had the option to keep your phone number unlisted if you wanted to be left alone, but forget calling you, anyone w access to a computer could just search you from a far and find your physical whereabouts. And now scientists are developing a chip to embed under the skin of all humans so they can be scanned like a bar code revealing every thing about that person- Your social, ur blood type, your whole life essentially. If they have already outfitted dogs with these chips to identify them, I dont see much stopping science from moving to the next level.
With every positive invention comes a way to use it negatively, and what we as a society need to determine is how far we want the capacity of technology to go, because once we create it, the purpose of the innovation is at the mercy of the user. And this world is FULL of sickos.
As always, the future is uncertain.

  3. haha you know I'm a nerd at heart and love technology. Has innovation gone to far? No. Will it ever? No. Granted, we as citizens truly don't know all the technology we truly possess, but eventually it makes it to us.

I don't agree with some of the technologies we have, but there is nothing I can do about that. Satellites and etc where they can watch our every move makes me sort of scared. I just look at it as there are 6 billion people in this world (all of whom don't have technology granted) but what are the chances they are following me?

But technology makes life so much easier, not to mention keeps me entertained. As you said about cell phones and Internet, hat would you do without it? And all we can do is make what we have better with innovators. That's why I say there can never be too much innovation.

    Therefore, innovators/ Apple ftw!

  4. Yea, the I Phone is hella dope!! Cant wait for the 3.0! But, just the I Phone itself is quite the crazy piece of technology!!

Technology is running a muck with the world! Enough text messages could be an entire population I think the video said. Like, wow! I know I send a million messages myself through via texts! Ahh Man, Not the chips in the hand again...I have been hearing that one forever and it becomes more realistic every waking second.

Technology is good, great, we would still be in Flinstone cars if it was not for Henry Ford revolutionizing the game. But, it is all still a lot to obtain. I feel for sorry for older people who are still stubborn and do not want to learn about the new technology! They will hurt the most...

  5. Yo, I saw that vid in my marketing class, too. Anyway, I just thought it was funny you posted this today (yesterday now) because I read in the alligator, someone's article talking about robots taking over. It was basically referring to technology. It mentioned how there's a robot in . . . India? that has its own facebook account and will use facial recognition to add you on facebook after meeting you once. Basically, it's programmed to be a facebook stalker. The article also mentioned a robot that actually has a memory. Not memory like RAM, but memory as in recalls events and whatnot form experience and can map out past landscape or terrain it has been through. The Terminator movies might not be all that fictional anymore. Crazy.
But, I too love techonology. (Video games) But there are things I don't like (human RFID). Eh, all things have their ups and downs. All I know is that I'll be prepared for the revolution . . . just in case.

  6. Wow. Technology is advancing at an alarming rate and, for the most part, it'll only serve to make our lives easier/better. But one thing kinda freaked me out..

The 1000$ Computer with greater computation skills than the entire human race? Has no one seen Terminator or The Matrix? Super smart computer gets uppity and decides it ain't listenin to massa no mo...and then wipes out massa and any potential massas...History channel did have this option as one of the ways mankind would get wiped out lol

I'm just sayin...I'm all for technology and all...but I don't want my computer transforming into a decepticon while I'm typing a paper or something!

    BnS out!
