Now, I have had many hours of debates and arguments about fairy tales and I am a hopeless romantic and a gangsta so trust its very hard for me some times to deal in this modern day and age when people dont feel like these things we read about can come true. Now, after reading this quote last night from my homegirl I just got to thinking like dang...(dramatic pause for five seconds)she's right. Now, I am not saying you should wait for a skinny indian kid to ride in on a magical carpet or nothing like that but, you CASN want something a certain way how you want it. I mean, (something I say often) whats wrong with wanting love how YOU want it? Whats wrong with hoping for someone to come in your life the way you think they should come? Yes, we cant control these things and we shouldnt "expect" it and sometimes we should just let it come and not worry about...but, theres nothing wrong with just hoping that it comes how WE may imagine it...ya know...And slickly, are we all NOT trapped in some fairy tale though?
Whether its a man thinking he gon' end up being the reason this woman reaches her "first" orgasm after 21 years AND after she has told him shes never gotten it, the man now goes into fairy tale mode and feels like the ultimate warrior to bring this new revelation of an orgasm into this womans life. Or Another fairy tale that men have or hope for is to hit a BAD BROAD, LIGHT SKINNED/SMOOTH SILKY CHOCOLATE, THAT COOKS, CLEANS, TAKES CARE OF THE FAMILY, GIVE DAT BOMB HEAD AND SEX, STAY FIT IN THE GYM, LONG HAIR AND SHE AINT TRYING TO GET INTO A RELATIONSHIP...(OOHHHHHHHHH, HE TOOK IT TO THE MAX, TJ)(YES THE CAPS NOOGA)...
Anywho, and yea don't get it twisted ladies yall are no better. For some women they will have this fairy tale in their minds (which I blame on rappers like LL COOL J) that some man is gonna sneak in their home and lace the house of red roses just to say sorry or scoop her up and take her to paris to propose to her and all this other jazz. And yes, women just like men fantasize as well... Usually its over these tyrese ahh, trey songz sanging, Shemar Moore ahh ninjas. And they want a TALL, DARK, SKRRRONNNGG man to carry them and knock the brakes off em and then want him to lay up under when shes done and watch the stars and he cradles her right cheek as the moon shines on the silhouette of her body and then their eyes meet and they are locked in like a heat seeking missile, they kiss and he says I LOVE YOU. Hmmmm SOUND GOOD DONT IT?!?!
Well, hey, theres nothing wrong with that ya know. But as the quote says...so many women end up (AND MEN) having to settle for their nightmares. Having to deal with trash. Literally. And yes some people really only deserve that title. Lord bless them. But, yes, Trash, Garbage, Waste. Some people are locked in forever and ever just because "Momma kept asking why I didnt bring a man home so I finally brought one home that she liked." or "Yeah, man she all I got so I aint got no choice I might as well keep her." And granted these quotes maybe dramatization but I am positive that in some form these things actually DO OCCUR.
All in all, let me wrap this up B, cause I could go on for LIGHT YEARS. *Obama Voice* There is. nothing wrong. (with a little bump-n-grind) with wanting, something how YOU want it *end obama voice.* I mean you have to live with it forever and ever, till death bla bla amen so you might as well start off with it the way ya like. But, it does not mean that because the young man doesn't come swinging in on a tree vine or drawn in by a horse drawn carriage that hes not your prince. And just because she may not have breast, thighs, hips and all that jazz. It does not mean that she still cant be that queen that deserves to be next to you sharing your last name and checking account (maaayybeee). But I mean, (I said it again) set dreams and shoot for the stars, but dont go crazy. Don't just knock things because it does not happen like it did in the notebook or whatever. Cause honestly, in regards to the women, if a man truly loves you and emphasis on truly. He will do absolutely everything and anything like in all the movies you see, books you read and all that there. Now, it may be a watered down version due to some money issues and such (insert laughter) but he will do what he can with what he has. And to the fellas, we gotta kill that 80/20 man. Sometimes the woman of our dreams is the woman that we have neglected or looked through, cause we get caught up with a young lady who may be willing to give it up quicker and you don't want to work as hard to get that other chick...And trust I have been there (I done that: guess that song)and I have made those mistakes as well. And granted you need to make them, you need to make them to realize what you don't want...but, Don't end up living out your nightmares at the end of it all. And granted you gotta go through the nightmares in order to see the fairy tale story at the end...But...Idk...you get what Im saying tho...

Also, after this I'm done promise...when you see: #PFMW via social networks...it means I have stopped and taken the time to "Pray for my Wife" its something new that I am doing.
