Black Superhero
Miami, Fl
21 yrs.
Here is a quick interview done with up coming Artist Vernon Hargray also known as Mr. V talking about his new mixtape Black Superhero.
Nemo: So V what did you want to do with this mixtape?
Mr. V: With this mix tape I want it to be more cohesive and well rounded. The music itself is very powerful. Very bass heavy, a lot of horns, and that soulful sound I love.
Nemo: So how do you feel about this mixtape compared to your past work?
Mr. V: Lyrically its my best effort. I'm flowin, my delivery and cadence are undeniable, and every verse has a quotable.
Nemo: That's whats up, but I mean a lot of rappers now a days are just rapping. There is really no content with what they are doing or what they are saying. How do you feel in regards to that?
Mr. V: As far as content I was able to include a lot of what was going with me at the time, I speak on everything from my relationships with women to my relationship with God to my relationship with music and I also spend a lot of time talking about the things I see in my neighborhood. I think people will be able to see the versatility.
Nemo: Okay, Okay, I feel you on that brother, well I mean, where do you get your influences from and does your hometown influence your style?
Mr. V: I'm born and raised in the bottom of the map so that Southern Hip Hop influence is undeniable, but l tried to combine lyricism and storytelling with the beats that bang hard in your car. If you listen to the tape its hard to disagree that we succeeded with that.
Nemo: So whats next?!? What do you do from here?
Mr. V: Black Superhero is the second installment of my "Color Series." It started with "Light Blue Heavy Green" and will continue with "White Noise," "Brown Liquor Music", and finally Red Eye Flights...
Nemo: Cool, cool...alright world well Im out, we out, so check out Mr. V and his latest mixtape Black Superhero and let the people know where we can listen and reach you as well!
Mr. V: These are all the places where you can reach me and you can listen to the mixtape through my bandcamp website!
