5 Golden Rules for a Healthy Relationships

Greetings Young World! So I am bringing you my 5ive Golden Rules to a Healthy Relationship! I performed this at an event called Jazz Joints hosted by the Theta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. along with the Mu Epsilon Zetas and Poets Inc a poetry organization here on the University of Florida's campus.

Sooooo...I came up with 5 Golden Rules and presented it for the event and beneath this the 5ive steps will begin! My Golden Rules were basically put in place in the concept of a man and a woman hoping to pursue each other or begin to become committed to another! So let me break into this like a Kung Fu master through a few blocks of Concrete ya dig!

Rule 1
"Why make love to a thousand women, when I can find one woman and make love to her in a thousand ways"

Its so easy to be a man that has lovers upon lovers and its so hard to put your time, faith, feelings and thoughts into one person. Men get praised for having millions of partners and are called whimps, punks or P-Whipped because they always with their ol' lady! So that is why men (as impressionable as we are) let friends persuade them (not the strong ones of course) into wiling and doing everything they want to do before they graduate...Cause college is all about fun right??!?! Im sorry but this will be the only place where the ratio will be 20 to 1 or some off the wall statistic like that! And us as men are literally in a gold mine but we fail to realize that...Have fun but still keep your eyes open for the queen as well.

Rule 2
"Never give 50/50 because you will get half out of the relationship"

Would you want a half a slice of pie?!?! Or half of your T-shirt or maybe even half of your Car??!?! and isnt half (50 percent) so thats really and "F" worth of an effort. Always put a 100 (A+) into any relationship you take part in. You and your partner are one and one and without either of you guys the relationship will have not purpose or drive to go any where.

Rule 3
"Love thyself before ya Love Another"

I feel like its impossible to keep a healthy relationship with someone if you dont love yourself. It just doesnt make any sense to me how people will try to use another to love them because they do not love themselves. It just makes a million and one and sense that you would need to LOVE yourself and attract someone of quality and potential. Sometimes we attract men and women that reflect how we may feel about ourselves.

Rule 4
"Dont set any standards for someone that you can not set for yourself"

I then went into saying "You cant have a God Fearing Man, if your not a God Fearing women"

I will also say that by saying that you want a Lexus will not happen iif you look a Buick, U shouldnt be wanting a Lexus and your worth a Mazda 626...lol! Now, while this may be entertaining it is truly real talk. Set high standards for your values and you will easily be able to get some type of ground work done with your partner.

Rule #5
"IF you cant come together through Christ, then you cant come together at all"

I mean that quote really speaks leaps and bounds and says it all when it comes to the thought process of wanting to be in a relationship. I myself has not been the Holiest of Holiest but I know that because I am not working with women on a spiritual level it has impacted the many reasons why I am single...

You can not build a relationship on rocky grounds because any structure will fail and only crumble in the thought of this! So it is really important to partake in the word with the person you love in order to help it grow and, it definitely gives purpose and drive to the relationship.

And obviously there are a million other rules that I could add but I really felt like somethings people havent heard of or people really needed to hear it again!
